My article, "Staying at Home With The Kids" (p.8), was published in the May 2008 issue of WBO Magazine. Stop by and check it out.
The WBO (Women Business Owners) is a non-profit organization founded by Anna Campbell. WBO offers a Ryze business network for Women Business Owners, along with local chapters, volunteer positions online/offline, annual expos, and more. WBO is an international 501(c)(3) organization, founded in February 2004. WBO also provides education and support for more than 4,000 women business owners throughout the world with online and offline resources.
I am currently the Weekly Update Coordinator for the WBO. I post and send out the current happenings to the staff members and WBO Ryze business network as there are new events or information to share regarding the WBO. The WBO also hosts an online talk radio show for women business owners to showcase their business live.
The WBO offers one membership option: one membership level of $10 monthly or $100 annually. This membership is good for virtual and local membership. This gives you access to your local chapter and to your virtual WBO membership. Membership to the Ryze networking group is free!
When joining a chapter $40 of your membership will go towards your local chapter's expenses and $60 will go towards the national WBO organization expenses. If you'd like to join the WBO as a member or volunteer please let them know I sent you. You can join by completing a short online form here. The group is very supportive of members offering a lot of value for your time and money!
If you are a work at home mom or small business owner, don't miss the WBO July Expo, Virtual Business Convention, coming up July 17-19, 2008.
