Well, I'm a day behind on my blog road trip due to some computer issues...so I had to pull off 'the web' for awhile until I got everything up and running again. As a result, I am combining Tuesdays Blog Trip and Wednesdays into one post.
I think I saved about .10 in gas though ☺ Gas prices in AZ currently ranges around 3.30-4.00 a gallon.
This isn't a big savings, but compare to other states I think we are one of the lowest across the
What's for dinner? Well one of my favorite places to eat is "Olive Garden". Thankfully you can find one of them
across the country. My favorite meal is the shrimp primavera, with salad and bread sticks, along with the raspberry cheesecake for dessert, along with a delicious Italian Margarita served on the rocks.
But, if you want good authentic Mexican food, then the Southwest is the place to go. I don't have a specific Mexican restaurant to recommend, but we do enjoy the setting and food at "La Parilla Suiza" for a dinner night out to listen to mariachi's and have some tasty Mexican food. The chicken chimichangas are always good and always leave enough for leftovers to make a meal the next day.
Otherwise, another place I recommend eating is "La Salsa", they offer fresh Baja style Mexican food to go. The fish tacos are some of my favorites, combined with their wide selection of homemade salsa's from avocado, pico de gallo and even mango sauce. If you're craving refreshing warm weather slushes, or anytime drinks, Eegee's is one of my favorites. They offer a variety of flavors from strawberry, lemon and pina colada to a different flavor every month. So if you find yourself in AZ sometime...make sure you stop through and try these local favorites.
