The recent layoffs across the country are finding many men switching roles with their wives and the men are becoming the primary child caregiver.
My husband became Mr. Mom for about six months this past year after getting laid off from work. We struggled financially for awhile, but we both stayed home and took turns with childcare during the days. It was great for me because it gave me some much needed me time and time to do more with my online ventures...however, as stated yesterday it is an ongoing challenge getting used to balancing family time and me time, especially now that he has returned to work.
Is your husband a Mr. Mom? How does he connect with other stay at home dads? How do you share the childcare responsibilities if one of you works out of the home or both of you do? Leave your comments below.
