Succesful WAHMs are bad mommy's
Ok - maybe not all of them, but I sure as hell am.

Seriously though, if you try and convince me that you are able to keep your house clean, interact with your children effectively, not keep the television on all day, plus you’re the most successful mommy on the block with your business…
Jen at badmommyblogger.com wrote the post above and I had to share it here because I can relate to her so much in this post. While I never claimed to be a supermom or great mom, I do the best I can to try and find time for me and my interests. I also hope that in the process the time I am spending on my blog or networking online I am able to contribute financially to my family in some way. While I am not a professional blogger or full-time work at home mom, I find I spend a lot of time online, especially when my husband is home, because I enjoy it, always have and always will. Twitter of course doesn't help with my Internet addiction...but the fact that I enjoy technology and finding new sites is another story. Either way I feel like a bad mommy many times throughout the day and work hard to make sure I spend time with my kids. However, there are times I need mommy time and they need to learn independence...so I will leave the tv on or ask them to play nicely together while I have some time out. This doesn't always go smoothly, but if I don't take my mini time outs by five o'clock I am ready to pull my hair out.
How about you? Do you find that you feel like a bad mommy because you need time outs while you are at home with your kids? Do you feel like you don't spend enough time interacting, teaching, cooking, cleaning and engaging with your kids while you work at home?
