#livetweetingabortion Is Twitter the 'new' place to go and live tweet your abortion?

Angie Jackson.jpgI've come across this video via Jill Stanek's pro-life blog and am disheartened and disgusted. So am also sharing my comments as posted on her blog, along with my additional thoughts here hoping to reach more people about how wrong this woman is. I hate to even refer to her or give her the time of day,but a lesson is to be learned from her shameful act and I believe one of the best ways to learn is from the mistakes of others. First of all, twitter is a great communication tool for sharing information and connecting with others, but is twitter really the best place to go to share your abortion? I guess, only if you want to learn from others mistakes...

This woman's soul is lost and twisted. [If you read her tweets under #livetweetingabortion you will see how twisted she is,not to mention she says to have a 'Godless day' at the end of her video. I feel like the devil is speaking himself through her shameless rants] How anyone can tweet about their pride in 'choosing' to abort their child for 'medical reasons' is beyond me. It has to be for attention, because she doesn't explain what medical reasons?? Like someone said [on Jill's blog comments], why not explain in detail more about that reason since she can explain in detail her choice to abort, and some of the details of her chemical induced abortion; while telling her son she is sick because she has a fetus inside her.[see her tweet Feb 18 at 11:53PM Apparently she hasn't learned that a fetus is a baby and the term comes from Latin.]

The only sick person is her. Reading her tweets sounds like the diary of a 'mad woman'.  Why else would she say she wants to keep the pill bottle as a souvenir[see her Feb 19th 7:36pm tweet]?? She does not appear to value life, except maybe her own selfish life she claims to be saving for her [poor]son to have a mother. [I hope he grows up to value life more than her and respect women more than her BF.]I wonder if her son is from the same BF[boyfriend]? Or was she in a healthier relationship at the time she chose to keep him? Or is this the same guy, who does not value her enough to marry her and raise their children together??

My thoughts and prayers go out to women contemplating abortion and thinking that it is a 'choice'. They had their choice when they chose to have unprotected sex or sex out of wedlock. It's a travesty the innocent babies pay the price for this irresponsible behavior. If she knew she had a medical condition, why did she risk her 'life' and her pregnancy?? [Perhaps if she were not Godless, she would have put her faith in God like Tim Tebow's mother and had a healthy, happy, God loving baby?]

It sounds to me like she seeks attention and will take any negative attention she gets along with the positive, in order to justify her 'choice' and live guilt free. But, we know the truth...and God knows the truth and I'm sure He has a special place for those who kill their own babies as if they are just removing a hang nail. [Just like I'm sure He has a special place for anyone who takes the life of another in the womb or out of the womb, life is life otherwise you would not be killing something/someone.]

All one can do is pray to end abortions and pray other women wake up to what it really is before it's too late for another innocent life. I also pray any woman contemplating this 'choice' will find how cold hearted &Godless Angie is and see how wrong it is. As I posted on this article, regarding an abortionist under investigation for keeping body parts of late-term aborted babies in his freezer...;'Abortion is not a choice to do good[no harm], it is a choice to do evil[harms innocent lives]!' http://ow.ly/1aV9V
[warning graphic image w/in link]

How do you feel about using twitter to share her abortion? Is she heartless and cold or is she making abortion out to be an act of choice with no regrets and little pain?? Is this really an honest portrayal of abortion??

Daughter bullied at school&sexually harrassed

I came across this awhile back and had it in my draft posts for awhile. What do you think of this video describing what happened to this mother's teen daughter?

Why did Superintendent need to know if her daughter wore a thong or not? What did this have to do with being bullied and sexually harassed by a male classmate?

Mother Faces Charges for Cursing at Principal
Cindy Schwalb says a boy pulled down her 13-year-old daughter's sweatpants in front of other students at Hasbrouck Heights Middle School.

Schwalb says she went to a school board seminar about bullying and got upset when her daughter's case wasn't given the attention she felt it deserved.

Schwalb says she became enraged when the district superintendent starting asking her questions, including one about whether her daughter was wearing a thong.

Superintendent Joseph Luongo says it was a fair question, "I had to find out what body parts were actually revealed."

Tantrum throwing six year old gets handcuffed&sent to mental hospital

Do you think the school and police went too far?? It sounds like this little girl has some definite behavioral issues and that the school needs to refer her to a specialist. I wonder if they ever discussed her behavior previously with the parents or if the school tried to develop some sort of behavior management plan?

As a former teacher, I have had to deal with tantrum throwing kids in the classroom. Thankfully none that would strike me or hit another student or teacher, but there was the potential of that happening because the student, a kindergartner, would kick chairs and crawl under tables, kicking and screaming if he didn't want to do something. I attributed his behavior problems to lack of sleep and parent involvement because he was in before school care between 6am and 7am and then wasn't picked up from school each day until after school around 6pm from the after school program.  However, one day I was upset and he asked why I was crying...and he said, 'my mom cries when my daddy hits her'. I then looked up and said what did you just say, and he repeated it to me. I then made up a report and notified the Principal and school counselor, neither of which assisted in reporting possible abuse at home. We did prepare a behavior management plan for the child, giving him smaller goals to earn rewards rather than having to earn a reward for the whole day based on his behavior. This plan worked well for him, though he did still have occasional outbursts.
Kathy Franklin sits with her 6-year-old daughter Haley at a bench inside the Whispering Pines Park playground area, while talking about how she is upset with what happened to her daughter while being disciplined at Parkway Elementary School last week. According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff's report, her daughter Haley was handcuffed to bring her under control while being disruptive in her first-grade class and a few days later, after another disruption in class, was taken to a mental facility for an evaluation. "Now they have my daughter scared to go back to school" Franklin said. (Photo by Eric Hasert )

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL -- Kathy Franklin says she wants to get her daughters back in school. But after her 6-year-old was handcuffed and then sent to a mental health facility, she no longer feels her children are safe at Parkway Elementary.

“These people are going to the extreme,” Franklin said. “She is so tiny. They didn’t have to use force on her.”

St. Lucie County Sheriff reports say Franklin’s daughter, Haley, was being disruptive on several occasions at school, throwing objects, hitting administration personnel and screaming uncontrollably. Last week after Haley wouldn’t calm down, a deputy handcuffed the 40-pound girl to get her under control.

On Tuesday, after another disruption, the girl was put under a law enforcement involuntary Baker Act and taken to a mental health facility. Franklin says the latest events have traumatized her daughter. She is afraid of law enforcement and school, she said.

“There is absolutely no reason for what they did,” Franklin said.

But St. Lucie County sheriff’s reports disagree. They say Haley was being disruptive on Feb. 3. She walked out of class and kicked a wall and school officials. She screamed and wouldn’t calm down for more than an hour.

The sheriff’s deputy handcuffed her in an attempt to get Haley under control, so she wouldn’t hurt herself or others, the report said.

“Haley was crying and saying that the handcuffs hurt. When I looked at her hands, she had one hand pulled almost all the way out, therefore, the handcuff was around her thumb and hand instead of her wrist, causing discomfort,” the report said.

The girl eventually calmed down after the handcuffs were removed and she returned to class. Haley said she doesn’t like school. It’s boring and the children make fun of her.

Update:Save Four Month Old Baby Isaiah With Prayers&Support

I was happy to see this headline today on Baby Isaiah; which I mentioned in a previous post a couple weeks ago. At that time the court decided to give his parents until February 19 to determine if he should be kept alive on life support. Now they are giving them until March 11, while they await a report from a neonatologist in Victoria to assess Isaiah. This will also give the family additional time to search for a pediatric neurologist in the US, possibly in New York or Baltimore, to assess their beautiful baby boy. It is unknown who is paying for the assessments and additional time on life support, but it is my hope that donations and/or doctors will offer their help pro-bono in this case.  The financial costs of saving this babies life should not be what decides his fate; would you let it decide yours or your childs?

The miracle of birth is proof there is a God, why not give this family and their beautiful baby the benefit of the doubt to do all they can in their power to save his life. Please keep praying for baby Isaiah's life and his family so that he is kept alive, as he continues to grow and thrive. Hopefully with your prayers, God's blessings and future or current medical intervention Isaiah will recover and live without life support. As others have said, when we cross the line into giving up our right to life or those we love based on medical expenses we are crossing a fine line into denying medical care to the elderly and disabled who may die or require life support or other costly drugs or medical care to keep them alive. This should not and never should be the decision of government or bureaucrats to make.  As someone posted in the comments section of this article from CBC, what comes after that?:

"Your elderly parent or child wanders off in the dead of winter and we now decide not to send search and rescue since it's a waste of money?"

We should not make life and death decisions based on cost nor whether or not someone will improve or not. Parents need to be able to make these decisions based on faith and will, along with medical advice. Nobody should have the pressure of the courts or any other entity trying to dictate what is in the best interest for their child. This is the true meaning of choice and offers the only right to life and liberty in society. Please help share his story by reblogging this through the link below and retweeting about it using this tweet:

Can you help? Every RT=prayers URGENT:Don't let them 'pull the plug' On BABY ISAIAH!Judge decides March 11 http://digs.by/1GY8Pls Share Thx!

From CBC Canada:
The parents of a brain-damaged baby will be back in court March 11 in an effort to keep their infant alive.

The parents of a brain-damaged baby will be back in court March 11 in an effort to keep their infant alive. Isaiah May was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alta., in October.

"There hasn't been very many improvements the last few weeks," said Isaiah's father Isaac May. "But he is still growing. He's over 12 pounds."

A lawyer for the family updated Judge Michelle Crighton Friday morning, in a case that has pitted the parents against the doctors at Edmonton's Stollery Children's Hospital.

Hootsuite&Top Tweets for the Week-Are You One?

I've recently started tweeting with Hootsuite again after trying it about a year ago. I find it very useful after trying several twitter desktop apps such as Tweetdeck, Seesmic, Mixero, Twhirl and others, but have found Hootsuite to be the most useful and comprehensive. Through Hootsuite you can schedule tweets, save drafts of tweets to send later, and send and schedule feeds to post on twitter. I have been searching far and wide for one desktop app that does it all and so far this is the one for me. Hootsuite also has a web based application with all the same features.

However, there are still a few features I hope Hootsuite plans to add, such as tweet shrink, so that you can autoshrink the text or url's to fit within the 140 character limit on twitter. I'd also like the ability to use other url shorteners and still be able to track statistics, as I have recently learned that the .ly shortner is a Libyian domain subject to Sharia compliance! YIKES! If Hootsuite is unable to provide this option I hope that some of the other application creators will add the features Hootsuite uses, such as the rss aggregation and stats.

Another great feature Hootsuite offers is the ability to track your tweet stats, allowing users to see which tweets are most popular and how many people clicked your links and what sites/sources referred them. This is important to determine which tweets are meeting the needs of your twitter following and helps you to learn if you are wasting your time or not. Recently, Hootsuite added lists and the ability to save draft tweets. Hootsuite also allows for multiple twitter accounts, including posting via Ping.fm and offers a bookmarklet through owly called the Hootlet. However, owly also uses the .ly url shortner. Almost all of the other features that Seesmic, Tweetdeck and Mixero offer are available in Hootsuite. But, Hootsuite also offers the ability to 'quote' tweets when you RT them, allowing you to append the message with your comments rather than the 'new' retweet method, which I do not like.

What is your preferred twitter application or tool? Please share in the comments.

Below is a summary of the top ten tweets of the week which I have tweeted or retweeted, did your tweet make the list?:

Outrageous:Haitian Charity Trafficking Kids

Unbelievable, yet sadly true, a Haitian teacher, Jean Guerson and his unnamed accomplice has been working with the AST (Association de la Santé Pour Tous - "health for all")charity clinic offering immunizations and vaccines to the poverty stricken Haitians, while selling kids for as little as $100 each or five kids for $30,000!! This man and his cronies must be stopped and hopefully are already in jail as I write this! News of the World in the UK, broke out with this exclusive story, here is a clip of what happened when they sent undercover journalists in to 'adopt' kids in Haiti, one day before the American missionaries were stopped for trying to help children in Haiti:

By Mazher Mahmood, 07/02/2010
TINY earthquake orphan Roudy stares trustingly at the camera as he's touted to strangers for £65, no questions asked - by a greedy CHARITY BOSS meant to be helping Haiti's stricken children.[pic]

Admin boss Yis Jean Guerson is responsible for providing medical aid to victims of the January 12 disaster with respected local aid group AST (Association de la Santé Pour Tous - "health for all").

But, unknown to dedicated colleagues, Guerson secretly heads a child trafficking ring and exploits his position of trust scouring camps for a stock of orphaned, lost and homeless youngsters.

Shockingly Guerson, 31, is also a TEACHER at a local school responsible for guiding and protecting children from the age of three.

But last week [as of 2/7/2010]- as he gave our undercover reporters a tour of the devastated capital Port-au-Prince with the stench of decaying bodies still hanging in the air - Guerson told us: "Just tell me how many kids you need and what ages you want, boys or girls, and I'll get them for you no problem."

Kidnapping

"Because of the earthquake there are too many children left without any family or anywhere to live. I can give them to you here for $100 (£65) each."

On Wednesday he lined up eight youngsters ranging from a three-month-old baby to a 13-year old girl for our reporters to choose from. Not once in all our dealings did Guerson ask WHO we were or WHERE the children would end up.

This man is a disgrace to the honest people and charities who truly are trying to help the children and families left homeless and orphaned in Haiti.  Learn more by viewing this video clip and following these links:

Have you shown your support for family&life yet?

The Pro-life group, the Susan B Anthony List has started a letter writing campaign, Block Hard for Tebow, to show Tim Tebow, quarterback and Heissman trophy winner for the Florida Gators, that we are behind him and support his willingness to share his inspiring story of life.

Here is a brief summary of his story: Tim's mother became very sick during her pregnancy with dysentary while living in the Phillipines as a missionary. Doctors had advised her to have an abortion because the medications she was prescribed could harm the baby. Thankfully, Tim's mother Pam is a devout Christian and chose to continue her pregnancy.

It takes a strong man to come out and speak about such a controversial topic, although the ad sponsored by Focus on the Family, shares not only the story of his mother's difficult choice but also is meant to emphasize the value of family. The ads theme is centered on "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life." Here is my letter of support. I hope you will join us in supporting this inspiring young man.

Dear Tim,

I appreciate your convictions and dignity to speak for those who can not speak for themselves by sharing your inspiring story with us. I'm not a big sports fan, but am happy to know there are some men in sports with some values and morals. If I had daughters you would be the kind of guy I would want them to date...Since I have sons I hope they grow up to be like you.

You are a positive role model and inspiration for many, especially males who need someone to look up to. Your story is very inspiring and I am thankful your mom chose life and God blessed us all with you. Stay strong and keep sharing your story and strengths with others.

May God continue to bless you and your family always!
♥Tebow accepting the Heismann Trophy and sharing his beliefs.♥
(this is not the ad, but a video well worth watching more than once!)

I hope you will share your words of support for this humble&inspiring young man and hopefully encourage CBS not to back down on their decision to allow the Focus on the Family ad to run.  I know there are some who are upset because CBS has not allowed ads like this to run in the past, but they have made some recent changes in their policies to allow for this type of controversial ad. What gets me is that companies such as GoDaddy have run sexually exploitative ads in the past and nobody raised a protest such as this. Especially not the groups who are trying to get this ad shut down, like the Women's Media Center and NOW, feminist groups that speaks out on issues defending women's rights and the right to choice. However, these groups are not respecting the rights of the media to choose what they want to air and the rights of free speech, let alone the fact Mrs. Tebow made a choice, and she chose life!

What is so wrong with airing an ad about the value of life and family during a family sporting event?? I would much rather see pro-family, moral ads then half dressed models and celebrities while watching with my young sons. And what about the fact that the Super Bowl is hosting The Who, whose guitarist, Peter Townsend was charged as a sexual offender in the UK as the half-time show?? You don't hear these feminist groups speaking out against this??

Most recently a dating site for bisexual men has come out with an ad which was rejected by CBS [links to video&CBS rejection letter]. This is causing people to cry out in protest against CBS and the Super Bowl because they think the ad was rejected based on political and/or personal bias. However, according to a letter issued by CBS to the dating site clearly stated the ad was rejected because the company had a questionable credit status (indicating they were weary of receiving payment for the ad), which Super Bowl ads start around $2 million dollars!

As someone who is not a big sports fan, I would probably not watch the Super Bowl game, but because of this ad I am looking forward to it! So far, the so called feminists groups have been unable to have the ad censored by CBS. It looks like free speech and the will of the people who donated to have this ad spot will prevail.

Help join the cause and show your support for family and life:
