While I would be upset I can't imagine taking anyone's life,especially the baby's in this case. If anyone, she should have directed her anger at her husband and left him,taking him for all he had as far as child support and alimony goes. Now her baby will be without a mother and as these cases often go, the husband will probably end up living with or marrying the mistress in the end.

I would never have tried to take a baby's life, again this inhumane behavior shows how cruel some people can be,how their needs come before a child's, and how little they respect life in the womb.

Prescription for harm

A jilted wife pregnant with her husband’s baby claimed that raging hormones made her fool his also-pregnant mistress into taking an abortion pill — and, when that failed to end the pregnancy, repeatedly tried to kill the newborn.

That was the excuse Kisha Jones’s attorney gave on Jan. 25 as the unhinged mother pled guilty to first tricking 25-year-old Monique Hunter into taking an abortion pill, then failing twice to hurt the baby in the hospital.

When she is sentenced on Feb. 10, Jones faces four years in jail, although she could be out in less than two years with time served, her attorney Barry Turner told reporters last week.

“[Jones] was in the last trimester of her pregnancy and was acting irrationally,” Turner explained. “I guess her hormones were out of whack.”

Jones, 40, was pregnant back in October, 2009, when she tracked down and telephoned Hunter — who was carrying Jones’s husband’s other baby.

Prosecutors charged that Jones first used a device to mask her cellphone number — making it appear that it was coming from Hunter’s doctor — then said the young woman needed to take a pill called Cytocec.

Jones had already gotten a fake prescription for Cytocec, which she had filled at a Williamsburg pharmacy, where Hunter picked up the drug, prosecutors said.

Trusting her “doctor,” Hunter, who was six-and-a-half months pregnant at the time, took the medication and began suffering from abdominal cramps. She was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where her baby was delivered prematurely.

With the baby still alive, prosecutors say Jones took things to the next level: she tried to pass herself off as a hospital administrator and order a nurse to take the baby off his ventilator. When that didn’t work, Jones got an unnamed accomplice to try to feed the baby a suspicious and possibly harmful liquid.

The accomplice came into the hospital’s neo-natal intensive care unit claiming that Hunter had pumped some breast milk for her baby, but a suspicious nurse threw the liquid out after determining it didn’t have the same consistency as breast milk.

Turner told Judge Martin Murphy that Jones, a mother of four, had never harmed anyone before, yet learning that her husband had not only been unfaithful, but fathered a love child with a younger woman drove her over the edge.

Making matters worse was Hunter, who had reached out to Jones repeatedly, taunting the older woman with sordid details about her husband’s affair, Turner claimed.

In an unrelated story, here is an example of the types of predators lurking on sites like Facebook,in which parents need to be more aware of who their children are befriending.

Sex traffickers celled

Artic “Scooby Da Don” Rogers’s Facebook page said it all: Favorite activities: Pimpin’ Hoes. Favorite books: “Pimpology” by Pimpin’ Ken, “Pimp” by Iceberg Slim and “48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene. Favorite movies: “Pumps Up, Ho’s Down” and “Pimp Chronicles.”

It’s no surprise, then, that Rogers was indicted for sex trafficking on Jan. 26 for terrorizing and forcing girls as young as 15 into prostitution — a lucrative endeavor that was ultimately broken apart when the family of one of his victims called authorities.

Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes said Rogers and associate Treymaine “Trey” Songster are both facing 50 years in prison for taking two young girls — the oldest 17, the youngest 15 — across the borough as well as to other states and forcing them to earn $1,000 on their backs each night. If they didn’t, Rogers would beat them and threaten their loved ones, prosecutors said.

Rogers would set up “dates” for the teens on Backpage.com and Craigslist, Hynes said during a press conference announcing the arrests. In order to make extra cash, Rogers would tape the sexual encounters and sell the videos online.

If his victims didn’t earn enough on their dates, he would force them on various “hooker strolls” until they earned their keep, Hynes explained, adding that Rogers felt he owned these young girls.

“He actually branded [the girls], forcing them to get a tattoo that read ‘Scooby,’ ” Hynes said. “It’s a common thing for cretins like these.”

Rogers kept the girls in a heightened state of fear. According to the indictment, he would often choke and electrocute animals and then tell his victims that they faced the same fate if they tried to escape.

When they weren’t working, his victims were under lock and key. Songster often sidelined as overseer and jail keeper, Hynes said.

Rogers’s reign of terror ended last December when a family member of one of his victims reached out to the DA’s sex trafficking unit.

Hynes’s office immediately launched an investigation and arrested Rogers Downtown as soon as a grand jury brought its indictment. His two victims were liberated and have been returned to their families, Hynes said.

Rogers and Songster were charged with kidnapping, sex trafficking, rape, promoting a sexual performance by a child and the torturing and injuring of animals.

But defense attorney Samuel Karliner refuted the charges, claiming that the DA’s case was built on the testimony of a questionable witness.

“The basis of their charges is really on the credibility of one person who has come forward some two to three years later,” Karliner said.

First of all those who say Marco Rubio or any other elected official has no right to support the pro-life cause are sadly ignorant of the 1st Amendment and free speech, and ignore the fact that Obama came out in support of Roe V Wade, saying he doesn't think the government should interfere in private family matters. If that were the case we wouldn't have foster homes, child abuse laws,etc. and we sure wouldn't have any form of social entitlement programs, such as health care reform being forced on people. Roe v Wade: Seven men robed in black declared that pre-born children are not persons. This law oversteps the Constitutional rights of the states and should never have become a federal law, but a state by state law.  Like health care reform law, this law also needs to be repealed and nullified by the states.



Secondly, those who say that the right to have an abortion is a constitutional right are mistaken and the only reason this failed law passed was because at least one of the judges felt abortion was a doctor's right, not a woman's right, to provide the 'medical procedure' under the condition the mother's life was endangered,not to kill because of economics or convenience. However, it is not a constitutional right because there is nowhere in the Constitution that says we have a right to kill our unborn children for any reason;nor are their reproductive rights granted, those are given by our Creator,as some are unable to conceive.



Lastly, if you are going to have sex use protection or abstain or take responsibility for your actions and be prepared to raise a child or put the child up for adoption. Just like those libs that like to say, 'you don't want an abortion don't have one'...but liberals are too selfish to think responsibly. If you don't want to risk pregnancy than don't have sex. Yet liberals want all the social welfare programs to support entitlements, but want to rid themselves of 'unwanted children' who you say might grow up to be abused or become criminals because of poverty,etc.



Your justification fails your own logic, especially when you advocate for social welfare entitlements, why not give that right to the unborn? In addition, those who say a baby isn't human until after it is born, that is not biologically proven. Biologically life starts at conception, a living cell is alive! But because you consider the sperm&the egg and the fetus a blob of cells you justify the slaughter of innocent babies who are not given the same chance at life,liberty and the pursuit of happiness you were given when you were born. Yet you whine about saving animals,eagle eggs,protest the wars and anything else you call an injustice to human rights and civil rights. Such hypocrisy!!



Liberals who claim to be so concerned about these rights care nothing about the unborn and see it more convenient to dispose of the unborn than to take a more responsible approach to save the life of the child and provide for them. How convenient for the men who advocate for 'women's rights' that they do not have to take responsibility and pay child support or wed the women they impregnate.







Abortion is a violent act, not a medical procedure, and it is rarely needed for medical reasons or rape victims. Finally, I believe that abortion is an outdated procedure that is less necessary because of medical advances, social acceptance of single mothers, unwed teens, etc and the increased number of crisis pregnancy clinics available today, in addition to the number of parents seeking to adopt who are unable to have their own child. If we can't respect the right to life for those in the womb how can we create a culture that respects life??



Thomas Jefferson wrote, “The God who gave us life gave us liberty at the same time.”



Whether you believe in God or not, what right do you have to take the life and liberty of an innocent baby in the security of the womb?? What about their human and civil rights?? If you are a moral person you must believe ending the life of another human is murder, therefore ending the life of an unborn person is murder. If you are a Christian you are lying to yourself when you are advocating for the right to choice and reproductive rights because the choice is taking responsibility for the risks involved in having a child and your reproductive rights are given to you, who are you to take someone's away? Do you want to become a culture like China or some Muslim countries who end the life of 'unwanted children' because of convenience or gender or any other reason?

A pro-choice,anti-Christian group posts 'God raped Mary' signs outside a Christian church;now the pastor wants police to investigate the incident as a hate crime against Christians.

Youth for Christ is hoping Winnipeg police will find whoever is responsible for posting small placards that state "God raped Mary" on wooden walls around its Centre for Youth Excellence development during the Christmas season.

"I had thought it's specifically an attack against Youth for Christ. I'm not convinced of that now. I think it is an attack against Christianity," John Courtney, the organization's executive director, said Wednesday. "If this were any religion other than Christianity, it would quickly be labelled a hate crime."

Courtney said the "pretty low" posters - depicting the biblical figures Mary on a donkey led by husband Joseph to a women's health clinic - make a pro-choice statement on abortion, and are signed by "Youth Against Christ" on the several he has seen and photographed.

"This was a very poor choice for a pro-choice group to try to get their message out, by even suggesting all Christians are against pro-choice. That's a wrong assumption," he said, noting the posters - possibly dozens of them - appeared to have been erected a few days before Christmas around a core-area church as well.

"And targeting Christmas services with 'God raped Mary,' and, 'Youth against Christ,' crosses a line of being appropriate."

Hate crimes against Christians and Jews are on the rise around the world;yet you hear more about 'Islamophobia' in the news. In addition, many pro-choice individuals are non-believers and support abortion. For anyone to say that God raped the Virgin Mary is ridiculous and offensive to Christians, who believe Jesus was conceived through Immaculate conception by the Holy Spirit,but it also represents the rise in what I call 'Christianphobia' hate crimes.

Those who believe God raped the Virgin Mary are demeaning the beliefs of millions of Christians and giving justification to abort a baby, since many pro-choice, pro-abortion believers support aborting a baby in cases of rape and incest. Despite the fact that woman who conceive due to rape or incest is only around 1% of victims. Our country and other democratic countries, like Canada, excel in human rights because we have freedom of religion. This kind of disregard and criticism of ones religion is a form of hate and persecution. Those who don't believe should not ridicule those who are believers by degrading the religion and faith that the majority of the country believes in. Freedom of religion is a right in countries like the United States and Canada that we must protect at all times and denounce any insults or persecution of others religious beliefs. At the same time Christianity, unlike Islam, is a religion of Christ and is not politicized by an ideology that tries to control and manipulate followers & and does not threaten non-followers to convert.

In 1973 the US Supreme Court delivered its decision in Roe v. Wade, legalizing elective abortion in all fifty states. Since then it is estimated 52 million unborn children have had their lives snuffed away from them while in the security and comfort of their mother's womb.


The Miracle of Life...is it just a blob of cells??

“I am committed to protecting this constitutional right,” Obama said today on the 38th anniversary of Roe V Wade. This coming from the same president who said as a candidate in 2008 about his daughters and abortion; "But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."

Is the massacre of innocent unborn children really a Constitutional right?? Those who support abortion claim it is protected under their right to privacy, however does the right to privacy really exist when it comes to defending the life of an unborn child in the womb?? 'Under the misrule of Roe v. Wade, 52 million Americans have been denied their inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness'. What happened to their right to privacy to thrive and grow in the womb? Oh, I forgot the pro-abortionists say it's just a ball of cells, so they can justify the murder of an innocent life growing inside of the mother. What about the ones who are aborted by 'Doctors' such as Dr. Tiller and most recently Dr. Gosnell?

@RightKlik has a great post on the recent high profile abortion doctor who was charged with murdering a mother and killing at least seven viable babies in his abortion clinic in Philadelphia, the post is so well done I am sharing it in full below:

Dr. Kermit Gosnell is the now-infamous Philadelphia abortionist who was finally arraigned this week on charges of murder after a decades-long career of death and mayhem. Gosnell subjected his victims ― mothers and babies ― to humiliation, filth, disease, and extreme pain.

Abortion advocates insist that this story is "not about abortion." They say Gosnell is an outlier whose evil deeds highlight the need for easy access to taxpayer-funded abortions. Some dare suggest that this case shows that "the system is working," and if there are any problems with the regulatory system, it's probably because "rabid fetus people" (pro-lifers) have distracted regulators from the real problems.

These apologists apparently have ignored or dismissed the facts of this case.

District Attorney R. Seth Williams (D) contends than Gosnell's incredibly brazen disregard for the law and for the value of human life was made possible by the generous support of state regulators:

State health officials have also shown a disregard for the laws the department is supposed to enforce. Most appalling of all, the Department of Health’s neglect of abortion patients’ safety and of Pennsylvania laws is clearly not inadvertent: It is by design.

Seth Williams provides this scathing vignette highlighting of the culture of abortion corruption in Pennsylvania government, particularly at the Department of Health (DOH):

State health officials knew that Gosnell and his clinic were offering unacceptable medical care to women and girls, yet DOH failed to take any action to stop the atrocities documented by this Grand Jury. These officials were far more protective of themselves when they testified before the Grand Jury. Even DOH lawyers, including the chief counsel, brought private attorneys with them – presumably at government expense.

Gosnell's abortion mill was rarely inspected after it opened in 1979, and inspections stopped in 1993. This lack of governmental oversight persisted in the face of highly credible complaints of death, serious injuries and sexually transmitted disease:

According to DOH witnesses, sometime after 1993, DOH instituted a policy of inspecting abortion clinics only when there was a complaint. In fact, as this Grand Jury’s investigation makes clear, the department did not even do that...

In January 2002, an attorney representing Semika Shaw, a 22-year-old woman who had died following an abortion at Gosnell’s clinic, wrote to Staloski [a high-ranking DOH official] requesting copies of inspection reports for any on-site inspections of the clinic conducted by DOH. Staloski wrote to the attorney that no inspections had been conducted since 1993 because DOH had received no complaints about the clinic in that time.

But DOH had received, and continued to receive, numerous complaints from physicians and attorneys:

• In 1996, an attorney reported that his client had suffered a perforated uterus, requiring a radical hysterectomy, as a result of Gosnell’s negligence.

• Between 1996 and 1997, Dr. Donald Schwarz, the former head of adolescent services at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, now Philadelphia’s health commissioner, noticed that patients were acquiring STDs at Gosnell's clinic. Dr. Schwarz hand-delivered a formal letter of complaint to the office of the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health. He never heard back from DOH, and no inspection resulted.

• In 2007 Dr. Frederick Hellman, the Medical Examiner for Delaware County, reported to DOH an illegal abortion of a 30-week-old baby girl at Gosnell's clinic.

• Janice Staloski, director of the DOH unit that is responsible for abortion clinic oversight, received two inquiries from attorneys’ offices about Gosnell’s clinic in the first two months of 2002. One was from the Shaw family’s attorney. The other was from a paralegal for yet a third attorney who phoned Staloski in February 2002, asking for information concerning the clinic.

The Grand Jury Report documents a callous political calculation that traded public safety for easier access to dangerous abortion clinics:

[DOH Senior Counsel Kenneth Brody] described a meeting of high-level government officials in 1999 at which a decision was made not to accept a recommendation to reinstitute regular inspections of abortion clinics. The reasoning, as Brody recalled, was: “there was a concern that if they did routine inspections, that they may find a lot of these facilities didn’t meet [the standards for getting patients out by stretcher or wheelchair in an emergency], and then there would be less abortion facilities, less access to women to have an abortion.”

Is there any reason to assume that criminal abortion activities à la Kermit Gosnell are confined to one practice, one city or one state? Will the spotlight that was used to expose corruption in the Catholic Church be used to shine a light on this scandal? Don't hold your breath (Exhibit A: Pharyngula vs. Pharyngula).

What are the feminists who support abortion and demand it is 'their body, their choice' doing to prevent abortion? I don't hear them advocating for adoption or abstinence education. Instead they criticize any pro-life stance and claim it is ineffective and rather stand up for a cause that was advocated by Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood,and one many feminists look up to as a woman's rights advocate. Margaret Sanger believed birth control, eugenics and abortion was a way to rid the world of unwanted children, especially black, poor or disabled children. This is one of the reasons Planned Parenthood facilities are located in minority and impoverished communities, because they not only offer low cost care,they also offer abortions for the poor and minority women.

Margaret Sanger founder of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, was a proponent of forced eugenics, segregation, abortion, birth control and sexual immorality. Here are some of her quotes:

Not only is abortion murder of a human life, it is a sin to those who are moral and Christian. Any Christian who supports abortion as a right and a choice are lying to themselves. This is why those who don't believe in God and don't believe in religion solely believe they are the ones who should have control of their bodies. The irony is that, like Ronald Reagan once said, those who support abortion have already been born. The only reason I can see a man willing to give his rights up to parent his own child and condones abortion is that he doesn't care, is irresponsible, doesn't want to pay for child support or doesn't want to marry the woman he impregnated. All of the reasons for abortion are often selfish.

Finally, for those who say abortion saves women's lives from the back alley abortions of the past and the use of coat hangers or knitting needles and drinking bleach, I say, give women more credit today. Women of today are smarter, more independent and have more options than in 1973. In addition, the social acceptance of unwed mothers and single parents has grown. There is a great number of loving parents who want to adopt. We have more crisis counseling and pregnancy centers now. There is less reason to resort to abortion. Therefore, I personally don't believe there would be 52 Million aborted babies 38years later if Roe V Wade never passed. I think most women would have had the children than risk their own lives and abort their own babies.

Most abortion is 'medically' unnecessary and done as a convenience, form of birth control and in disregard for life. On the close of this 38th anniversary of Roe V Wade, we must remember regardless of religious beliefs, 'A person's a person no matter how small.'-- Dr. Seuss. That Christ created life and formed us in the womb and knew us before we were born.

I meant to post this a couple weeks ago but the Tucson shooting consumed most of my attention. This is another unfortunate event and goes to show how immoral and deranged our society has become. Make sure you are aware of who your kids are chatting with or texting online because their safety is in jeopardy no matter how nice someone might sound.

A girl raped by three teenagers and a 22-year-old pleaded that she was only 14 years old during an attack her assailants recorded on a cell phone camera, prosecutors said during a bond hearing today for one of the suspects.

Vicente Hernandez, 22, of Cicero, was ordered held on $600,000 bail after being charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault. The three other suspects -- Alex Picallo, 16, Majeed Khalifeh, 18, and Jonathan Leanos, 19, were charged Wednesday.

Police say Leanos met the girl on a MySpace page last summer, and they met several times before Leanos took her to his house on Saturday. When she refused to have sex, Leanos raped her, then took her along when he drove to pick up Khalifeh and Hernandez, police said. They returned to Leanos' house, where they were met by Picallo, police said.

When Hernandez took the girl into a bedroom and locked the door, she told him she was only 14, prosecutors said. Hernandez assaulted her and broke her cell phone before leaving the room, prosecutors said in court.

Khalifeh and Picallo then went into the room and assaulted the girl while Hernandez and Leonas used their cell phones to record the attack, prosecutors said. Leanos then allegedly raped the girl again.

Hernandez’s lawyer portrayed his client as a hard-working family man working two jobs to support his girlfriend and two daughters. He is also the primary caregiver for his 85-year-old grandfather, said attorney Marco Raimondi. He requested that Hernandez be released on $50,000 bail, arguing his client posed no flight risk.

How despicable and depraved can people get. According to the news report, this guy raised this girl since she was an infant. Who knows how many times he abused her before and gave her alcohol to the point where she lost consciousness. In this incident he claims to have caught his friend raping the 11 year old girl, then sent her to her room after punching or threatening the friend with a gun. He then hit her so hard she lost consciousness or was so intoxicated that she didn't know what happened to her. She spent six days in intensive care from the beating he subjected her to. What makes this story even worse is this guy was a known gang member,had a history of arrests for domestic violence and child abuse yet they let him raise her!!

While being interviewed, officers say the victim couldn't sit up straight and complained of a lot of pain. She was swollen and had bruises all over her body.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, where she spent 6 days in the ICU -- recovering from a liver laceration, a right adrenal gland hemorrhage, an acute 11th rib fracture, a concussion, an acute vaginal injury, and multiple bruises.
The victim told police that Gary would frequently give her alcohol.


The friend told officers that Gary gave shots of alcohol to the victim before the alleged sexual assault took place.

A Child Protective Services report confirms that Gary gave the victim alcohol in the past. Her blood alcohol level was .033 -- which was taken more than 8 hours after police were called and more than 14 hours after the victim went to bed.

Police say due to the amount of alcohol she consumed, she was unconscious during the sexual assault and has no knowledge of the incident.

Thankfully this creep is in jail and hopefully stays their a long, long time, like forever would be nice!!

I came across this today and was not only disgusted but shocked to hear that an elementary teacher would allow this to go on, but then again in today's society where children are constantly being bombarded with sexualized advertising, television, clothing and marketing it is not all that surprising.



If you haven't already heard about the new MTV series out called 'Skin', then you have been living under a rock, but this program glamorizes teen drug and alcohol use along with sexualizes teens by showing them in compromising positions or nude! The majority of the teens in the new reality based show are under 18, with the youngest being 15.  The Parents Television Council is asking the US Senate and House Judiciary Committees and the Department of Justice to investigate MTV and the producers for promoting child pornography because they feel they have crossed the line. I tend to agree. Here is an edited clip of 'Skin' actors discussing the new reality show on MTV:



MTV insists the show is rated for 'mature audiences' and comes on at 10pm, but that doesn't stop teens from watching it, especially teens who have limited if any parent supervision. This kind of media has taken over television networks and advertising in the last 20years. I remember growing up seeing very little nudity, let alone kissing and drug use on television. Now you hear adults using profanity such as 'crap,damn and ass' as if it's every day language and the norm for children/teen viewing. While many of us may have heard those words once or twice growing up it was not the norm in our daily lives and it was not on television on a daily or weekly basis like it is now. In addition, if this 'teen' show is not for teens why are they exploiting minors for adult audiences?? The last thing we need is to encourage pedophilia in our country, as it is acceptable in some Muslim and European countries.

This incident,which happened this past week, at a public school in Oakland,CA is just another example of what happens to our culture and society when sex acts, drug use, alcohol use, homosexuality and profanity become acceptable on television and in movies. If we as adults don't do more to stand against this type of solicitation of our children they will grow up thinking this is the norm and that we are just closed minded and uptight adults overreacting. But, this is how a generation gets indoctrinated to believe otherwise and this is how our society is slowly losing it's Judeo-Christian values.

Things like this do not happen in a healthy society. There is something seriously wrong when children and those appointed to guide the children behave in ways that defy anything near normal human instincts and behavior. Things like this take place in a culture that has grown twisted and crippled from an entrenched, infiltrating, oozing, putrescent gangrenous, sociological infection.

OAKLAND (CBS 5) — A teacher at Oakland’s Markham Elementary School has been suspended indefinitely after school officials said a pair of second-graders performed sex acts on each other in class – with the teacher present.

Flint said the sex acts incident was one of two separate cases under investigation involving the teacher; both incidents occurred last week in the same classroom but he said they didn’t come to the attention of school officials until Wednesday.

Will this get it through some thick heads, that it is NOT a good idea to over-sexualize small children? Maybe we should rethink the porn on MTV — by kiddies and for kiddies — and the slutty pop stars on Sesame Street?
Or here’s a bright idea. Maybe the idea of handing kids “safe sex kits” complete with condoms and fruit-flavored lubricant isn’t working out all that well after all.

Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people,without adding a single new doctor [or new debt],but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it,and signed by a President who smokes,with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,for which we'll be taxed for four years before any "benefits" take effect,by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!What the hell could possibly go wrong?

Hard to imagine we do business with a country like this. To think the majority of our products come from a country that treats their own people this way, especially women and the unborn like a piece of trash is disgusting. Yet, yesterday President Obama welcomed China's communist President Hu to our country as if he was honoring a king. What's worse is our country is so in debt to China it makes you wonder if we will ever get out of debt, especially at the rate this administration has been spending. How could we do business with a country that brutally beats&imprisons their own people because they protest for free democratic society like we enjoy in the US? Why do we continue to help their economy grow when they repress their people, impose one-child only policies and force abortions on those who don't get permits to have a child?

Obama told President Hu yesterday that he supports China's rise and looks forward to selling more products to China;yet ignores the fact that he is making a deal with a Communist country who is set on growing their own economy with or without the US. In the meantime, the US has become dependent on them to buy our bonds and debt. We need to stop this cycle of spending and debt before we are indeed enslaved by the same country that enslaves its own people. While China might be growing economically, they are also growing their military and it's not to protect and defend the US from our enemies. China has been aiding our enemies, such as Iran and North Korea. We must stop exporting from China since they are no better than the Iranian regime or a terrorist country. The jobs that have gone overseas to China need to be created here in the US. We can not be responsible for contributing to the oppression that is going on in China by continuing to enslave their people with less than minimum wage jobs. The cost of products may go up but it would be worth it to boost our economy and create jobs for American's especially when we are over 9.8% unemployment and that's only counting the people who are still actively looking for work. Not to mention China has stolen intellectual property rights and sells counterfeit American products for less while stealing business from American businesses.

After you read the following by Congressman Chris Smith, of New Jersey, you will further understand why we must not continue to kiss the feet of China when the tragedy of abortion is killing half a population, while the government profits off of the slave labor of the people who make products sold in America. Then to top it off we don't even tax China for all the products they export to the United States.

The following are the remarks given by pro-life Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey at a press conference today to call attention to President Barack Obama’s visit with China President Hu Jintao, who is visiting in Washington this week:

Today we’re here with some of the bravest human rights defenders and former political prisoners of the Chinese government, to talk about Hu Jintao’s China – and to call on President Obama to raise human rights issues publicly and vigorously during Hu Jintao’s visit to Washington.

Last month President Hu gave the world unmistakable proof of his government’s moral puniness and fear – when he left the Norwegian Nobel Committee no choice but to place the Nobel Peace Prize on an empty chair – empty because Hu wouldn’t let Liu Xiaobo, a proponent of gradual democratic reform, out of his prison cell to receive the prize. As most of you know, Hu even had Liu’s wife and friends placed under house arrest for fear they would come to Oslo to receive the prize for him – in a country like China, it is inconceivable that the security and media campaign unleashed against Liu and his supporters wasn’t approved at the very top.

President Obama, as the 2009 Nobel Peace laureate, has an obligation to call for Liu’s release publicly and vigorously. Having led a group of members in nominating Liu for the prize, I was present in the Oslo City Hall for the empty chair ceremony, along with former Speaker Pelosi and Rep. David Wu. Over the years I have had the further privilege to meet a number of former Nobel Peace laureates. There is a strong bond between peace laureates – they share an understanding that the world’s most prestigious award confers an obligation on them. I think that, for the peace laureates, the idea that they could meet personally with and throw a White House state dinner for a political leader responsible for jailing another laureate and not demand publicly for their fellow laureate’s release would be something absolutely unthinkable. I truly hope that in the next few days President Obama lives up to the award he received in 2009.

Beyond this I urge President Obama to join us in speaking out for all those in China whose basic human rights are violated – for political prisoners, such as Gao Zhisheng, who we recently learned has been savagely tortured in the past year – his wife, Geng He, is with us today, as well as Chen Guangcheng, still under house arrest after serving years in prison for drawing the attention of the international media to a massive forced abortion campaign in Shandong province, for Falun Gong practitioners – also victims of the most brutal torture practices – for underground Christians, Tibetan Buddhists and Uyghur Muslims, whose native lands Hu’s government treats like militarily occupied territory, for democracy advocates, labor organizers, North Korean refugees, for Internet users, subject to censorship and surveillance.

I particularly want to mention Chinese women. The Chinese government’s one-child-per-couple policy, with its attendant horrors of forced abortion campaigns and rampant sex-selective abortion, is, in scope and seriousness, the worst human rights abuse – the worg]st gender crime – in the world today.

Few people outside China understand what a massive and cruel system of social control the one-child policy entails. As the U.S. China Commission summarized, the system is “marked by pervasive propaganda, mandatory monitoring of women’s reproductive cycles, mandatory contraception, mandatory birth permits, coercive fines for failure to comply, and… forced sterilization and abortion.”

The price for failing to conform to this system is staggering. A Chinese woman who becomes pregnant without a permit will be put under mind-bending pressure to abort. She knows that “out-of-plan” illegal children are denied education, health-care, and marriage, and that fines for bearing a child without a birth permit can be 10 times the average annual income of two parents, and those families that can’t or won’t pay are jailed, or their homes smashed in, or their young child is killed. If the brave woman still refuses to submit, she may be held in a punishment cell, or, if she flees, her relatives may be held and, very often, beaten. Group punishments will be used to socially ostracize her–her colleagues and neighbors will be denied birth permits. If the woman is by some miracle still able to resist this pressure, she may be physically dragged to the operating table and forced to undergo an abortion.

Her trauma is incomprehensible. It is a trauma she shares, in some degree, with every woman in China, whose experience of intimacy and motherhood is colored by the atmosphere of fear created by the government, by government threats and determination to intrude itself, in deadly fashion, into the most private aspects of her life.

Last year, I chaired a Lantos Human Rights Commission hearing and heard the testimony of Wujian, a victim of forced abortion. I’ll quote the pertinent part of her testimony, picking up from her abduction from a cabin where she had been hiding out to escape the population police:

“About one hour later, the van stopped in the hospital. As soon as I was out of the van, I saw hundreds of pregnant moms there, all of them just like pigs in the slaughterhouse.

“Immediately I was put into a special room without any preliminary medical examination. One nurse did oxytocin injection intravenously. Then I was put into a room with several other moms. The room was full of moms,” she went on, “who had just gone through a forced abortion. Some moms were crying. Some moms were mourning. Some moms were screaming, and one mom was rolling on the floor in unbearable pain. Then I kept saying to her,” the abortionist, “how could you become a killer by killing people every day?

“She told me that there was nothing serious about this whole thing for her. She did this all year. She also told me that there were over 10,000 forced abortions in our county,” that is not country, county, “just for that year, and I was having just one of them. I was astonished by her words,” she went on, “and I realized that my baby and I were just like a lamb on the cutting board. Finally she put the big, long needle into the head of my baby in my womb.

“At the moment, it was the end of the world for me,” she went on, “and I felt even time had stopped. Since it did not come out as expected, they decided to cut my baby into pieces in my womb with scissors and then suck it out with a special machine. I did not have any time to think as this most horrifying surgery began by force. I could hear the sound of the scissors cutting the body of my baby in the womb. Eventually,” she goes on, “the journey in hell, the surgery was finished, and one nurse showed me part of a bloody foot with her tweezers.

Through my tears, the picture of the bloody foot was engraved into my eyes and into my heart, and so clearly I could see the five small bloody toes. Immediately the body was thrown into a trashcan. The one-child policy,” she goes on, “and forced abortion policy have killed millions of innocent lives in China.”

Her story is every woman’s story.

No wonder the World Health Organization reports over 500 female suicides per day in China. China is the only country in the world where more women take their own lives than men, and, according to the Beijing Psychological Crisis Study and Prevention Center, in China the suicide rate for women is fully three times higher than for men.

The result of this policy is a nightmarish “brave new world” with no precedent in human history, where women are psychologically wounded, girls fall victim to sex-selective abortion (in some provinces 140 boys are born for every 100 girls), and most children grow up without brothers or sisters, aunts or uncles or cousins.

As Chai Ling has said so well, the one-child policy amounts to multiple Tiananmen Square massacres every day. In the theatrical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables, Marius sings a song evocative of the Tiananmen Square Massacre – Empty Chairs and Empty Tables – an expression of agony at the loss of his idealistic comrades, gunned down on a barricade. “There’s a grief that can’t be spoken,” Marius sings, “there’s a pain that goes on and on. Empty Chairs and empty tables, now my friends are dead and gone…” China’s pervasive crackdown on dissidents has resulted in empty chairs and empty tables all over China. But empty cribs as well, as the state run by Hu Jintao has slaughtered millions of babies.

Unfortunately, for two years the Obama administration has made nothing but weak, pro forma responses to human rights abuses, in China and around the world.

Our country can’t afford to continue doing this. We need to challenge human rights abuses publicly and in language that shows we mean business – and we need to do this above all in China. In fact we need to show that a major factor in estimating the Chinese government’s threat to other countries is its abuse of its own people – and we need to encourage other countries to do the same

For the past twenty years, the key to our global human rights policy has been China. When we take human rights in China more seriously, then it follows that we do so everywhere else – and when we write off China, human rights abusers in Belarus, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, know that we have written off human rights everywhere.

A turning point in our country’s capitulation to cynicism was May 26, 1994, when President Clinton delinked MFN trade status from human rights. The Chinese government immediately concluded that we don’t really care about human rights – and so did the rest of the world. We lost almost all leverage on human rights, not only in China but globally, and have never regained it. And in 2008 Secretary Clinton quickly confirmed the old Clinton policy when, on her first trip to China as Secretary of State, she pointedly said that human rights couldn’t be allowed to ‘interfere’ with other issues.
