Happy Declaration of Independence Day

As we celebrate 236 years of Independence from Great Britain and the rule of tyranny. We should remember and teach our children why we are free and why we are celebrating independence

We Are A Moral Country Founded On Christianity

Our founders knew we were not a theocracy, but they placed value on a higher authority and morals. As John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

Our Declaration of Independence reaffirms this in the statement: "A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

John Adams, one of the founding fathers, wrote to his wife, Abigail:

"The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more."

The Declaration of Independence recognizes our inalienable human rights,those which government does not grant,but must protect:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

There are many concerned about the direction of our country as more and more Americans become dependent on the government rather than the government becoming less controlling of the people. This coming election, we the people have the power and right to stand for freedom because our Declaration of Independence protects our inalienable rights to 'life, liberty&to pursue happiness'.  These freedoms were granted to us through our Creator,not our government. Did you know....56 Men Declared Our Independence 236 Years Ago?

On this 236th birthday of our nation....we must remember only we can control our destiny through prayer,God and our voice&votes! The voting booth is our first battle against Big Government, what follows will depend on how you November 2012. Will we be a Democratic,Constitutional Republic governed by the will of the people or by the control of tyranny??

Let's not let our founding fathers sacrifices and those who came after them lives be in vain. Freedom isn't is the soldier who died for our freedoms and it is Christ who died for our souls.

While you celebrate the freedoms we have enjoyed in America&are slowly losing, remember these 56 men who declared our Independence against tyranny! The Declaration of Independence is the birth certificate of our nation and the only document that upholds our God given, inalienable rights. Let no man take them away!
