Should Parents Be Told If Their Teen Is Given The Morning After Pill At School?

We have the same nonsense going on in the United States. When will the government stop intervening on parental rights and leave health care decisions to the parents and medical professionals? Don't they realize the dangers of prescribing medications to young teens that could cause long term health conditions and lead to an early abortion by ending the conception process, which results in an early abortion? Yet, a student wearing a t-shirt promoting abstinence or safe sex is considered inappropriate for school??

Mail Online:

"GPs have called for all school nurses to be able to give the morning-after pill to teenage girls.
NHS trusts in some areas have already introduced the scheme in an attempt to reduce the number of unwanted teenage pregnancies.
But now GPs including Dr Anne Connolly, chairman of the UK-wide Primary Care Women’s Health Forum, have called for the scheme to be introduced nationwide.

Dr Connolly said: ‘It’s a great idea. Giving out emergency contraception should not be done in isolation, but as part of a wider programme.’

The call comes after doctors in Scotland expressed a similar view."
