Experience "Walking With Dinosaurs-The Live Experience"-Review

The Walking With Dinosaur Live Experience is a lifetime family event and experience you don't want to miss!

Thanks to BBC Worldwide my family and I saw the Phoenix, AZ show on September 12, 2008. I along with my husband and two young sons, ages four and 16 months, enjoyed the show quite a bit.

I knew this was going to be a great family event, but it also turned out to be one of the best productions I've ever seen!

The Dinosaur Live Experience reminds me of a 'Live' "Jurassic Park" movie. The sound effects, animatronics, and stage are very creative and realistic. The narration is very fun and educational, providing facts about the various dinosaurs presented, but also facts about the various periods each dominated the earth. From the Triassic Period to the Jurassic Period and Cretacious Period, the audience is taken back in time nearly 250 billion years ago.

The dinosaurs are life sized and created by The Creature Technology company, in Melbourne, Australia. A team of producers created the show, along with the Creature Technology Company team who provided great attention to detail, realistic skin, facial features and moving eyeballs. The show is based on the well known BBC documentary series Walking With Dinosaurs, which airs on Discovery and BBC Worldwide, and is one of the largest and most acclaimed shows to come from Australia.

The show is also narrated by real paleontologists, directed by William May and written by Warner Brown. Puppeteers and various support crew members, artists and technicians were involved in the making of the show, along with the designing and operation of the dinosaurs. The show is scheduled in various cities throughout the US this year!
